Trump’s Pro-life Landslide.

Trump's pro-life landslide.

They’ve been aborting 40% of Black babies for years. If all those Black babies were still around, it would have been a landslide for Hillary not Trump.

A state-by-state comparison of abortion data and the election results confirms that the division is in fact about abortion, and clearly the pro-life side is winning. It also gives a whole new meaning to the red state/blue state division between the two major political parties. Full Article

They say demographics is destiny, and the proof of that is in the devastating toll that abortion has taken among Black and Hispanic populations in and around our inner cities who traditionally vote 70% to 90% Democrat.  It is time to face the fact that the militant advocacy for abortion among leading Democrats – combined with genocidal targeting of Black and Hispanic communities by Planned Parenthood – has inevitably taken a huge demographic toll of these constituencies.

Basically, our analysis shows that Donald Trump won a landslide victory in pro-life leaning, low abortion states, while Hillary held big margins in liberal, pro-choice states. The big change is that the pro-life leaning states now have a commanding edge.

The average abortion rate in the states Hillary won is a staggering 92% higher than in the states Trump carried – 22.07 per 1,000 women of child-bearing age in her states compared to 11.5 per 1,000 in the states he carried. That’s a huge difference.

Trump carried 30 low abortion states with an average margin of 56.6% of the vote, while Clinton carried 20 high abortion states plus the District of Columbia with an average margin of 55.9%.

This confirms the dramatic split between predominantly pro-life Republican red states and abortion-tolerant Democrat blue states. It is also a powerful argument for reversing Roe v. Wade and sending the abortion issue back to the states.

Planned Parenthood tells President Trump “Take a Hike”

President Donald J Trump

Offering money to Planned Parenthood to abandon our patients and our values is not a deal that we will ever accept. “Polling shows the majority of Americans oppose public funding for abortion, even those who identify as pro-choice. There is an opportunity for organizations to continue the important work they do in support of women’s health, while not providing abortion services.” Full Article

“Today, Planned Parenthood dropped the mask and showed how extreme their abortion business really is,” the Center for Medical Progress (CMP), the organization that exposed Planned Parenthood organ harvesting, said in a statement. Its abortion program “is the largest the country but…they claim is ‘only 3%’ of their business. When asked to choose between full-spectrum, mainstream healthcare for women and families, or late-term abortions and selling baby body parts, Planned Parenthood chose the latter.” Full Article

The marketing of Planned Parenthood as a magnanimous and comprehensive health care provider for untold scores of women who will otherwise never see a real doctor and thus die of cancer … it’s all a lie. Women have thousands of other options – and far better ones.

The mission of Planned Parenthood is not cancer screenings. It’s abortion. If tomorrow Planned Parenthood could no longer commit abortions, they would close their doors. It’s that simple. The organization exists for the purpose of profiting from abortions. And at least now Cecile is finally admitting it. She wants that half a billion in taxpayer dollars, all right, but to keep it she’s not about to melt down Planned Parenthood’s golden calf. Its mission is abortion. Full Article

Is Tony the Tiger becoming Political?

Is Tony the Tiger Supporting the Gay Lifestyle?

Kellogg Co. is pulling its ads from the website Breitbart News, “to ensure our ads do not appear on sites that aren’t aligned with our values as a company,” said Kris Charles, a spokeswoman for Kellogg.

In response, Breitbart Editor-In-Chief Alexander Marlow issued a statement encouraging Breitbart’s 45 million monthly readers to boycott Kellogg’s products.

“For Kellogg’s, an American brand, to blacklist Breitbart News in order to placate left-wing totalitarians is a disgraceful act of cowardice,” Marlow said on Breitbart.com. “They insult our incredibly diverse staff and spit in the face of our 45,000,000 highly engaged, highly perceptive, highly loyal readers, many of whom are Kellogg’s customers.”

As of Thursday morning, over 100,000 people had signed a petition pledging to join Breitbart’s “movement against Kellogg’s bigotry.”   On social media, many used the hashtag #BoycottKelloggs to support the news organization, while others slammed it.

Not all brands are shying away. With a Nissan ad on the website, the automaker said in a statement that it “places ads in a variety of sites in order to reach as many consumers as possible.”

Archdiocese Will Not Comply with Abortion Sanctuary Bill

Archbishop Robert Carlson

This proposed ordinance seeks to make St. Louis a sanctuary city for abortion, an act that kills innocent unborn children. Full Article

Board Bill 203 could also allow the City of St. Louis to fine landlords and others who do not want to rent to or be associated with the abortion industry. This proposed ordinance, therefore, would force the people of St. Louis to be complicit in the profound evil of abortion. This would be a flagrant violation of religious liberty and individual rights of conscience.

I urge the citizens of St. Louis to oppose Board Bill 203. Protection and care for human life at all stages of development from conception until natural death is a fundamental moral value shared by Catholics as well as many other people of faith. City ordinances should respect all people, including women facing unplanned pregnancies, unborn children, and people who desire to live their lives in accordance with their religious convictions.

let me be clear that the Archdiocese of St. Louis cannot and will not comply with any ordinance like Board Bill 203 that attempts to force the Church and others to become unwilling participants in the abortion business. There is no room for compromise on such a matter. This is a matter of fundamental religious and moral beliefs.

Rather than aiding and abetting the abortion industry, the archdiocese, through its various ministries and programs, will continue to extend both spiritual and material assistance to all those in need, especially the poor and those women facing crisis pregnancies who feel they have no one else to turn to for help—both during their pregnancies as well as after their child is born.

If the unborn are human, act like it! Write their history!

The History of the Unborn

It’s about time for the unborn to have history written about them as well. Every other human group seems to have a history dedicated to it. Introduction to Article

In this timeline, I focused on events. So it doesn’t give the whole picture: not the trends, or statistics, or general practices. I simply wanted to give people an idea of what a history of the unborn could look like; what type of events, ideas and discoveries contributed to the situation of the unborn today. One might think that the history of the unborn would focus solely on abortion. I have found that to be untrue. There is a lot to write about the unborn, and a lot left to be studied and written.

If you like my Timeline, please share it. I also encourage you to blog about pro-life history. In the 1980’s it was often said: If abortion is murder, act like it! Well, we can’t stop abortion right now. I would simply like to rephrase that and say: If the unborn are human, act like it! Write their history! I promise you right now there is a historiographical effort to denigrate the unborn and their rights. If we can’t have the unborn respected through politics or popular culture, we can do it through history.

In researching my Timeline of Pro-Life History, I came across a number of people whom nobody has ever heard of, but whose influence on the welfare of the unborn was monumental. And one of these figures is Father Francesco-Emmanuele Cangiamila (1702-1763). Read more »

Pope says Stop Killing in the Name of God!

Peace will continue to be a priority.

“I appeal to all religious authorities to join in reaffirming unequivocally that one can never kill in God’s name,” the pontiff said. Full Article

Pope Francis signaled the press for peace will continue to be a top-shelf priority in 2017, pleading for an end to the “homicidal madness” of terrorism and war.

In particular, Francis issued a challenge to religious leaders of all faiths to reject, once and for all, the idea that killing in the name of God can ever be justified.

“Sadly, we are conscious that even today, religious experience, rather than fostering openness to others, can be used at times as a pretext for rejection, marginalization and violence,” Francis said.

Referring to terrorist attacks and other acts of violence that erupted throughout 2016 in places such as Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Belgium, Egypt, France, Germany, Iraq, Nigeria, Pakistan, and even the United States, Francis said, “We are dealing with a homicidal madness which misuses God’s name in order to disseminate death, in a play for domination and power.”

“I appeal to all religious authorities to join in reaffirming unequivocally that one can never kill in God’s name,” the pontiff said.

Francis pledged his own ongoing commitment to trying to build bridges among faiths, citing his visits in 2016 to the synagogue of Rome and the mosque of Baku in Azerbaijan, his first-ever encounter with Patriarch Kirill of Moscow in Cuba, and his trips to Armenia and Georgia that had a heavy emphasis on Catholic/Orthodox relations.

Pro-Life Brings Christian Unity

Pro-Life Brings Christian Unity

“We are seeing the unity in the body of Christ that all of us prayed for—that Jesus called for—in the pro-life movement.”

First Image, which operates four Portland-area pregnancy resource centers and Oregon’s first mobile ultrasound unit, recently received four new ultrasound machines—a donation worth more than $120,000. To do so, the evangelical ministry first had to overcome a theological barrier to forge a deeper partnership with pro-life Catholics. Full Article

First Image and the archdiocese, the two groups signed an agreement that made a way for Catholics to further support the evangelical ministry’s outreach while preserving their doctrinal distinctions. “Our posture has always been to collaborate with as broad a swath as possible while holding to our evangelical core,” said Larry Gadbaugh, First Image CEO and a former pastor. “We wanted to further the mission that we had a common conviction about.”

Their collaboration allowed 4US, a charity founded by Catholics, to donate the machines to First Image despite the theological disagreements over its mission statement.

Having Control at the End of My Life

compassion and choices to suicide nation

The old Hemlock Society USA renamed “Compassion and Choices” has gained surprising vigor with recent approval of assisted suicide in California, Colorado, and District of Columbia.

The D.C. Council on Tuesday gave final approval to legislation that would allow physicians to prescribe fatal drugs to terminally ill residents in the city, making the District the seventh jurisdiction nationwide to allow the practice.  “The fact that we have now gotten three states with diverse populations across the country, from the West Coast to the Midwest to the East Coast, is a huge sign of momentum and support for the issue across political, racial and demographic grounds,” said Sean Crowley, a Compassion and Choices spokesman. Critics say the notion of doctors hastening death for terminally ill patients runs counter to religious teachings about the sanctity of life. “I watch hundreds of people come and go at the oncologist’s office,” said Wandix, who has undergone chemotherapy. “They are not trying to give up. They want to live. We believe in God. That’s not even a question. I’m fighting for my life, and my God is going to show me how.” Full Article

What seriously ill – and often depressed — patients need is authentic support, including doctors fully committed to their welfare and pain management as they enter their final days. Patients need our assurance that they are not a burden — that it is a privilege to care for them as we ourselves hope to be cared for one day. Little Deivice to Sterilize Woman Causes Big Problems

Essure Sterilization Device

Women who used the (sterilization) device “Ensure” had 10 times as many operations to fix problems as women who had surgery instead.

The Essure boxed warning will alert patients and health professionals to adverse events associated with the device including the possibility for uterine perforation, chronic pain, serious allergic reactions, device migration into the abdominal or pelvic cavity, and the need for the device to be removed surgically if symptoms become unbearable. While the FDA’s belated move is a step in the right direction, many want to see the device banned from the U.S. market altogether.

The latest recommendations from the FDA do not go far enough,” Congressman Mike Fitzpatrick (PA–8) said in a released statement concerning the FDA’s approval of a new boxed warning for Essure, “a boxed warning and patient checklist highlight the severe risks of Essure—but they’re not legally enforceable requirements.”

Last year, Rep. Fitzpatrick introduced a bipartisan bill in Congress called the E-Free Act which would circumvent the FDA and ban the Essure device outright.

“Tens of thousands of women have been harmed by this unsafe medical device, including hundreds of fetal deaths,” Rep. Fitzpatrick said in his released statement.
