Does the human fetus have any value and any rights?

The first trimester of your pregnancy is from weeks 1 to 12.

Dennis Prager talks about one of the most emotionally charged subjects there is — abortion — but in an unemotional way. Dennis Prager

Let’s begin with this question: Does the human fetus have any value and any rights? And that’s Moral Argument Number One: A living being doesn’t have to be a person in order to have intrinsic moral value and rights.

And this is Moral Argument Number Two: On what moral grounds does the mother alone decide a fetus’s worth?  We certainly don’t do that with regard to a newborn child.  It is society, not the mother — or the father — that determines whether a newborn child has worth and a right to live.

And that’s Moral Argument Number Three.  No one ever asks a pregnant woman, “How’s your body?” when asking about the fetus.  People ask, “How’s the baby?”

A Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing Saul Alinsky!

A Wolf in Sheep's Clothing Saul Alinsky

How Saul Alinsky community organizers control human behavior and life-and-death decisions by corrupting the health care system and using religious institutions in their effort. The Big Death Lobby

A Wolf in Sheep's Clothing Saul Alinsky

Documentary about community organizer Saul Alinsky (1909-1972). Hillary Clinton described Alinksy as “that rare specimen, the successful radical.”

Where did political correctness, gender conflict, gender confusion — and so many other aspects of the Culture of Death — come from?

The answer to these, and many other questions, can be found in the  Original Documentary “A Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing,” a chilling look at the impact of Community Activist Saul Alinsky, whose “Rules for Radicals” still wields a huge influence on American culture – and the world.

“Even in the communities where there has been Alinskyian organizing, do we see less racism? Or, do we see more polarization?” asks Alinsky Biographer Stephanie Block. “Do we see less poverty, or are there problems with poverty greater now? There’s a real good argument that they’re greater.”

Abraham Lincoln’s Thanksgiving Proclamation

Sarah Hale was a strong advocate for a national day of Thanksgiving

This is the proclamation which set the precedent for America’s national day of Thanksgiving.

During his administration, President Lincoln issued many orders similar to this. For example, on November 28, 1861, he ordered government departments closed for a local day of thanksgiving.

Abraham Lincoln’s Thanksgiving Proclamation

Abraham Lincoln’s Thanksgiving Proclamation

Sarah Josepha Hale, a 74-year-old magazine editor, wrote a letter to Lincoln on September 28, 1863, urging him to have the “day of our annual Thanksgiving made a National and fixed Union Festival.” She explained, “You may have observed that, for some years past, there has been an increasing interest felt in our land to have the Thanksgiving held on the same day, in all the States; it now needs National recognition and authoritive fixation, only, to become permanently, an American custom and institution.”

Prior to this, each state scheduled its own Thanksgiving holiday at different times, mainly in New England and other Northern states. President Lincoln responded to Mrs. Hale’s request immediately, unlike several of his predecessors, who ignored her petitions altogether. In her letter to Lincoln she mentioned that she had been advocating a national thanksgiving date for 15 years as the editor of Godey’s Lady’s Book. George Washington was the first president to proclaim a day of thanksgiving, issuing his request on October 3, 1789, exactly 74 years before Lincoln’s.

The document below sets apart the last Thursday of November “as a day of Thanksgiving and Praise.” According to an April 1, 1864, letter from John Nicolay, one of President Lincoln’s secretaries, this document was written by Secretary of State William Seward, and the original was in his handwriting. On October 3, 1863, fellow Cabinet member Gideon Welles recorded in his diary how he complimented Seward on his work. A year later the manuscript was sold to benefit Union troops. – Article

I didn’t set out to make a movie about contraception. After all, in a country where sex without babies is largely considered a basic human necessity like air and water, telling a story about the disastrous consequences of rendering the conjugal act sterile doesn’t seem like a great way to attract a huge audience.

November is National Adoption Month

National Adoption Month is to celebrate the families who have grown through adoption

Each year, November is recognized as National Adoption Awareness Month.

While all adoption-related issues are important, the particular focus of this month is the adoption of children currently in foster care.

Month is to celebrate the families who have grown through adoption

National Adoption Month is about spreading awareness. It is a month to encourage others to learn about adoption

The month also includes National Adoption Day, traditionally a Saturday, which is observed in courthouses across the nation, where thousands of adoptions are finalized simultaneously. In November of each year, adoptees, birth families, adoptive families and adoption professionals take some time to celebrate adoption, to reflect on adoption practices and its lifelong effects on families and children, and to educate ourselves about topics surrounding adoption.

National Adoption Month is about spreading awareness. It is a month to encourage others to learn about adoption, to hold adoption related events, and to acknowledge the people in this country whose lives have been impacted by adoption. The mission of National Adoption Month is to celebrate the families who have grown through adoption, and to recognize the many children who are still waiting for forever families.

Happy National Adoption Month! Keep an eye for articles, quotes, and even some special deals as we celebrate this month of appreciation and awareness.

“I thought, with losing my parents, that I had a firmer grasp on loss, but truly nothing can prepare you for going home from the hospital without a child.”

Dr. Kermit Gosnell Movie – Violence, Greed, and a Cover up

In February of 2010, the Philadelphia Police Department and the FBI raided the offices of Dr. Kermit Gosnell, a respected physician and late-term abortion provider in West Philadelphia. The doctor was suspected of selling prescription drugs illegally. However, what investigators discovered upon entering the clinic was unthinkable. – “See No Evil” – the case of Kermit Gosnell – Fox News Report

As investigators began interviewing employees, they learned that Dr. Gosnell employed a tactic that he called “snipping.” Women who came in for late-term abortions would be induced, live babies would be born, and then Dr. Gosnell would kill the babies by severing their spinal cords with scissors.
Through exclusive interviews with detectives, crime scene investigators, journalists, victims, and Dr. Gosnell himself, “3801 Lancaster: American Tragedy” tells a story of violence, greed, and a cover up that shook the nation.

White Ribbon Against Pornography Week Oct. 28 – Nov. 03.

Pornography has become increasingly acceptable, accessible and freely available

The National White Ribbon Against Pornography (WRAP) Week brings together hundreds of national, state and local groups, along with driven concerned citizens in a massive effort to educate the public on the harms from pornography and the many resources available to aid those affected. National WRAP Week always starts the last Sunday of October. The week is intended to inform the public and public officials about the harms of pornography and the need to enforce obscenity and related laws.

The White Ribbon Against Pornography (WRAP) Campaign began with one woman in Butler, PA in 1987. Norma Norris heard a sermon against pornography delivered by the pastor of her Catholic parish. Msgr. Francis Glenn lamented that local prosecutors and law enforcement had been deluded into thinking that people didn’t care about the hardcore porn being sold in her

community. Norma looked at the full pews in the church and said, “That can’t be; we’re here and we care!” Norma then gave herself the challenge to inspire her community and to send out the message: WE CARE! WE COUNT! Norma thought the plan had to be simple, inexpensive, and something to catch the imagination. Soon after, the idea of a simple white ribbon as a symbol of decency came to her, and a movement was born.

Pornography has become increasingly acceptable, accessible and freely available. It is one of the biggest threats to our children’s online safety. Today, any computer literate child can view, either intentionally or accidentally, sexually explicit pornography online–from adult pornography (like the kind that appears in Playboy) to prosecutable material depicting graphic sex acts, love sex shows, orgies, bestiality and violence.

Pornography has been implicated in an increase in teen promiscuity, sexually transmitted diseases, divorce, child sexual abuse, rape, human sex trafficking, and a decrease in worker productivity. “Clearly, children also need protection both from exposure to hardcore pornography and from sexual predators who use this material to groom their victims and arouse themselves.”
