Tuesday October 16th, Pro-life Day of Silent Solidarity

Pro-Life Day of Silent Solidarity was founded by Bryan Kemper in 2004.

People from all over this nation will give up their voices for a day in solidarity for the children silent as their lives are taken by abortion.

On Tuesday October 16th, 2018, students from all across the nation will give up their voices in solidarity with the over 3,000 lives taken by abortion every day, whose voices will never be heard.

Pro-Life Day of Silent Solidarity was founded by Bryan Kemper in 2004.

On this day, people all over the world will give up their voices in solidarity with the pre-born children who have had their voices silenced by abortion.

Red arm bands and duct tape will identify them as taking part in the Pro-life Day of Silent Solidarity. They will carry fliers explaining why they are silent and educate others about the plight of the innocent children we are losing every day.

We ask that you wear a red arm band or red duct tape over your mouths to identify that you are taking part in the National Pro-life Day of Silent Solidarity. You can also wear a pro-life t-shirt to show your support. Take a vow of silence for the day, acting in solidarity for those who have been silenced forever.

We are remembering those who were lost and hurt by abortion by giving up our voices and remaining in solidarity. Will you join us?

National Pro Life Chalk Day

Students for Life of America sponsor the "National Pro Life Chalk Day" Any City Nationwide!

What activity saves lives and impacts a whole community yet requires almost no money and minimal time commitment? SIDEWALK CHALKING!

This is a low cost and fun activity that can potentially touch hundreds, if not thousands, of hearts. Some pro-lifers write positive messages or shocking statistics, depending on the location of the

chalking. Others use the visual of 3,500 hearts to show how many babies die in a single day in America from abortion. Chalk the sidewalk at your school, your church, your neighborhood—anywhere that is public property.

With a handful of chalk and an arsenal of pro-life slogans, you can leave a lasting impression on hundreds or even thousands of people.

Don’t get discouraged if your “artwork” is scuffed or washed off by haters – that means they saw it. Place messages at different angles and perspectives so foot traffic from every direction will catch a glimpse. Keep the messages short and succinct; you only have a brief moment to get your point across – make it count. Use bright or pastel colors like pink, blue, white and yellow.

CHALK UP for LIFE! Grab some friends and chalk up your neighborhood.

Life Chain’s Across America October 7th.

This is a family event.

Annually, on the first Sunday in October, LIFE CHAIN invites the churches in each city and town across North America to stand on a designated local sidewalk and pray for 90 minutes, while holding one of the following approved pro-life sign messages nationallifechain.org.

This is a family event.

Stand with thousands of pro-life individuals throughout the USA and Canada in honor of millions of babies whose lives have been lost to abortion.

Stand with thousands of pro-life individuals throughout the USA and Canada in honor of millions of babies whose lives have been lost to abortion.  Pray for people in crisis situations and for our nations.  You’ll be a light in a darkened world as you help put an end to abortion through prayer!

In 2014, 1550 cities and towns held Life Chains, and each Chain is posted at LifeChain.net.

Started in 1987 we call LIFE CHAIN “a serious first step to pro-life activism.” It’s a serious step in that it requires us to stand publicly for one hour, while holding a pro-life sign and praying through the prayer topics on the back of our sign. That brief experience has led thousands of Christians across North America to join local pro-life groups and work as volunteers throughout the year. Find a Life Chain near your town.

LIFE CHAIN is a peaceful and prayerful public witness of pro-life individuals standing for 90 minutes praying for our nation and for an end to abortion.  It is a visual statement of solidarity by the Christian community that abortion kills children and that the Church supports the sanctity of human life from the moment of conception until natural death.  Learn more about the Life Chain Pro-Life movement.

40 Days for Life is the largest internationally coordinated pro-life mobilization in history, helping local communities end the injustice of abortion.

40 Days for Life is a community-based campaign that takes a determined, peaceful approach to showing local communities the consequences of abortion in their own neighborhoods, for their own friends and families. It puts into action a desire to cooperate with God in the carrying out of His plan for the end of abortion. Find 40 Days for Life on Facebook.

The 40-day campaign tracks Biblical history, where God used 40-day periods to transform individuals, communities and the entire world. From Noah in the flood to Moses on the mountain to the disciples after Christ’s resurrection, it is clear that God sees the transformative value of His people accepting and meeting a 40-day challenge.

Want to end abortion? If you do, the first thing you must do is pray. Prayer is at the center of 40 Days for Life. During each campaign, we are calling on people of faith across the nation … and around the world … to fall on their knees before the Lord, asking Him to hear our plea and heal our land. Pray outside an abortion facility. Pray at church. Pray at work. Pray in the car. Pray at home with your family.

The visible, public centerpiece of 40 Days for Life is a focused, 40-day, non-stop, round-the-clock prayer vigil outside a single Planned Parenthood center or other abortion facility in your community. Learn more about the 40 Days for Life Campaign which is starting soon.

Tiny Feet, Precious Feet, Priceless Feat

The Precious Feet pin has become the international pro-life symbol for those working to end abortion and to promote the respect for life. Millions of Precious Feet pins have been distributed throughout the world.

This remarkable little pin has been responsible for countless people changing their minds on abortion,

Virginia Evers designs the Pro-Life pin. This would become the iconic pro-life “Precious Feet” pin

“All of a sudden, I saw these tiny feet; these perfectly formed tiny feet, with little toes, little wrinkles and creases and I held them between my fingers and took the picture. I was crying because I felt so bad – it just really got to me,” he said. “I really didn’t think the photo would be anything, but God must have taken the picture because it was perfect, and I knew that this would be one powerful way to send a message to the world, as this unborn baby was only about 10 weeks along.” Dr. Russell Sacco, takes the image.

The Precious Feet were birthed in 1978 when 86-year-old Virginia Evers, remembering a pro-life ad she saw in the San Diego Union that included Dr. Russell Sacco’s photograph of a 10-week-old unborn baby’s delicate feet, used it as her inspiration for designing a lapel pin the exact size and shape of an unborn baby’s feet at 10 weeks after conception. Virginia Evers designs the pin.

When Roe v. Wade came before the Supreme Court, Dr. Sacco expected the court would rule against abortion because it was evident from his photographs that unborn babies are not “blobs of tissue,” but human beings. “I was just so shocked that they went along with this,” he said. “Here I had the proof that these babies were not tissue, but real people. Since Roe v. Wade, more than 51 million babies have been murdered. It is horrifying.” Dr. Russell Sacco can’t believe Supreme Court decision.

California Senators Say Faith Communities Need to Evolve

This bill attacks the freedom of Christians,

“The faith community, like anyone else, needs to evolve with the times. The science is clear.  Gays “Must Stay Gay”

California legislators are making it clear. “Christians stay out of the same-sex attractions or gender identity confusion business”. Christian pastors and Christian counselors stay away and stay out.

This bill attacks the freedom of Christians,

elected leaders told churches and those with biblical beliefs about gender and sexual orientation that advocating for their views could get them sued.

AB 2943 is the radical bill from Assemblymember Evan Low and the LGBT Legislative Caucus. With last week’s Senate vote, (watch debate) elected leaders told churches and those with biblical beliefs about gender and sexual orientation that advocating for their views could get them sued.

This bill attacks the freedom of Christians, like those pictured above, to find the services and resources from counselors, schools, and faith-based organizations that help them live out their biblical convictions regarding sexual behavior and gender identity. Shouldn’t these people have the freedom to find true joy by embracing and living out their faith without government persecution? Read their testimonies of joy and change at oncegay.com.

The implications of AB 2943 are staggering. Legal experts confirm that by targeting financial transactions, AB 2943 threatens religious non-profits, churches, and pastors who provide paid resources to help people practice their faith.

Indifference the most Deadly Poison of our Times.

Where does our broken world need Jesus and Mary the most? The answer is in the abortion industry.

it’s indifference. The opposite of faith is not heresy, it’s indifference. And the opposite of life is not death, it’s indifference.”

Indifference, a lack of concern or a refusal to act in the face of injustice, is at the heart of human suffering. With this in mind, St. Maximilian Kolbe (who was executed by the Nazis on August 14, 1941, after offering his own life to save another condemned prisoner) described indifference as “the most deadly poison of our times.”

In most cases our indifference is born of comfort or complacency and a sense that “I shouldn’t get involved” or “it isn’t my business.” Sadly, we can all-too-easily recognize how these attitudes allow injustice, abuse, and neglect to continue and increase in too many places in the world today.

However tempting it might be to pretend otherwise, there are things worth living for, suffering for and even dying for. This is why the question of Cuban poet José Marti — “When others are weeping blood, what right do I have to weep tears?” — calls us to an even more essential question: “What is the value of a life that is lived without anything worth dying for?”

On the Sidewalk with Amy Blackwell

She had an encounter she would never forget.

Seven years ago Amy Blackwell drove an hour and a half from her home to an abortion clinic in Shreveport planning to abort her child.

She saw “a little old man” on the sidewalk praying for her, and ducked into the center when he turned away.

She had an encounter she would never forget.

Amy Blackwell, recently shared her story on social media, singing the praises of her personal hero, “the little old man from the sidewalk.”

She said she was in a bad place in her life at the time and didn’t want to go through with the pregnancy.

But on her return trip to the abortion facility with a friend, on the day she was to have the abortion, she remembered that man and broke down. It saved her child.

Amy Blackwell, recently shared her story on social media, singing the praises of her personal hero, “the little old man from the sidewalk.

She wrote in a Facebook post about the day she went to an abortion facility to get a consultation for an abortion, and had an encounter she would never forget.

So after 7 years of thinking of him and loving him for his part in my daughters life, God brought us together today. He, who now I know as Mr. Brocato, has the blessing of seeing the fruits of his labor. He is now 90 years old and not able to stand on the sidewalk anymore – BUT in his place, I now stand.
